Staff AI Architect

What you will do

• Define technical strategy and architecture for end-to-end cloud, data, and AI/ML engagements.
• Design scalable cloud-native, multi-cloud, hybrid, data platform, and event-driven solutions.
• Build architecture for data warehouses, lakes, batch and streaming pipelines, model serving, MLOps, feature stores, and LLM applications.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, DevOps, security, governance, compliance, and observability standards.
• Lead cloud migrations, platform modernization, and performance, cost, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Act as the principal technical voice for clients and leadership, mentor experienced engineers, and own complex integration decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native architecture, including microservices, serverless, containers, and event-driven systems.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, data modeling, ETL/ELT, orchestration, and relational, NoSQL, and big data systems.
• Production experience designing AI/ML systems, including LLMs, MLOps, model serving, and relevant platforms and frameworks.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python, APIs, containerization, networking, cloud security, identity and access management.
• Experience with governance, compliance, observability, senior stakeholder communication, mentoring, and AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.

Nice to have

• Multi-cloud architecture, responsible AI, or enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF or AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.
• Experience integrating AI/ML solutions with SAP EAM data through SAP BTP or cloud-native APIs.
