Manager, Corporate Security (Biotechnology)

Location: Dunkirk, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $126,000–$140,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity award.

What you will do

• Manage facility security contractors, scheduling, assignments, service quality, and performance.
• Oversee patrols and identify suspicious persons, hazards, security breaches, and safety concerns.
• Assess security risks and recommend strategies, systems, equipment, and process improvements.
• Lead day-to-day security operations, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies, alarms, incidents, and security events; prepare reports for management.
• Manage security budgets, expenses, standard operating procedures, and cross-functional security projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Law enforcement or military background in good standing.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in security management or law enforcement protecting personnel and property.
• Clean DMV record and a valid guard license as required by the state.
• Required licenses must remain active and be carried while on duty; a CCW permit or HR-218 is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, independent judgment, crisis-response, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.

• 2+ years of experience supervising or managing staff.
