Manager - Business Continuity

Location: Onsite at hirify.global’s Somerset, New Jersey location, United States

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and update business continuity and disaster recovery plans across business units.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses, then coordinate mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
• Plan and lead business continuity training, testing, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Coordinate incident response, communications, reporting, and cross-functional crisis teams.
• Monitor continuity program performance, administer risk and resiliency tools, and implement improvements.
• Manage vendors, outsourced-service continuity requirements, governance reviews, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution experience in a medium to large organization.
• At least 5 years of hands-on disaster recovery experience, including runbooks, end-to-end exercises, data replication, network configurations, client/server technology, and cloud-based recovery.
• At least 5 years of people management experience.
• Expert knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, project management, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, ITIL, GRC, ITSM, and emergency notification systems.
• MBCI or CBCP certification is required; a bachelor’s degree or four years of relevant experience is also required. Must be available for incident response during evenings, weekends, extended hours, or short notice, and travel up to 25%.
