Mechatronics Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and develop mechatronic components and systems for drone motors and robotic actuators.
• Integrate electrical, mechanical, and software subsystems into actuator products.
• Collaborate with design, testing, and manufacturing teams during product introduction.
• Develop test plans, build test equipment, and improve designs based on test results.
• Design, build, and test manufacturing automation equipment, including pick-and-place, load-and-unload, and automated in-line testing systems.
• Document technical specifications, design decisions, and test results, and support applicable R&D projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience building mechatronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of motors, actuators, sensors, electronics, and microcontrollers.
• Experience with embedded software development and hardware integration.
• Proficiency with CAD software and circuit design tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in drone or robotics industries.
• Familiarity with motor control electronics and firmware.
• Knowledge of system-level testing and validation for electromechanical devices.
• Experience with automation and control systems.
