What you will do

• Develop and refine motor control systems for high-precision real-time actuation.
• Build simulation and testing tools in Python or C++ to validate control systems.
• Integrate controls with embedded software, hardware, and computer vision components.
• Analyze system dynamics and performance and solve complex control challenges.
• Support system integration, tuning, and field testing of autonomous systems.
• Document control strategies, algorithms, and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of controls engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Experience with flight control systems, motor control algorithms, or real-time motion control applications.
• Knowledge of control theory, PID tuning, state estimation, feedback control loops, system identification, and robotics motion control.
• Experience with simulation environments and test frameworks, preferably Python-based.
• Understanding of real-time constraints, hardware-software integration, Git, CI/CD workflows, and maintainable tested code.

Nice to have

• Embedded systems programming in C or C++.
• Python or MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation experience.
• Experience with autonomous aerial or ground robotic platforms.
• Sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, MIMO systems, adaptive control, nonlinear control, or HIL/SIL testing experience.
• Experience with ruggedized defense or aerospace systems.
