Program Safety Advisor (Management of Change)

Location: Chino, California, US; hybrid work with required reporting to an SCE facility, and residence in California unless otherwise noted.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Management of Change process for the Safety Management System department as the subject matter expert.
• Ensure worker-safety changes are defined, evaluated, planned, reviewed, approved, communicated, and controlled before implementation.
• Develop enterprise safety programs, policies, procedures, and processes aligned with strategic objectives.
• Analyze safety culture, safety management systems, risks, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Safety leaders, consultants, subject matter experts, organizational-unit leaders, and other partners on strategic initiatives.
• Conduct safety training and presentations and provide guidance to colleagues and company leadership.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of experience in health, safety, or compliance programs, activities, or systems.
• Experience supporting and implementing safety initiatives.
• Experience presenting recommendations and communications to all organizational levels.
• Experience implementing a Safety Management System.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.

Nice to have

• Risk Management certification.
• Experience leading Management of Change.
• Experience in the utility industry.
