Devices Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Rehovot, Israel

What you will do

• Develop and maintain device drivers and platform flows.
• Integrate and test software with real hardware components.
• Implement and optimize device control logic for high-performance systems.
• Define and implement software requirements in collaboration with hardware and system design engineers.
• Develop software documentation and test procedures, troubleshoot software issues, and communicate with internal customers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience integrating and testing software with real hardware.
• Familiarity with electronic control boards and board-level integration.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or an equivalent tool.

Nice to have

• Python experience.
