Trust Real Estate Department Lead

Location: In-office in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH, United States

Base salary: $91,000–$169,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Oversee workflow, transactions, and operational processes for trust-owned real estate assets.
• Manage complex residential, rental, commercial, farmland, timber, oil, gas, and mineral assets.
• Assess, mitigate, escalate, and resolve fiduciary, transaction, and property-management risks.
• Coordinate property purchases, sales, leases, negotiations, maintenance, inspections, valuations, insurance, taxes, and related expenses.
• Prepare and present recommendations to the Real Estate Trust Investment Committee and Special Assets Committee.
• Coach team members, provide training, improve procedures, and collaborate with fiduciary counsel, market advisers, managers, customers, and external service providers.

Requirements

• Must work in-office and be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH.
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• Management or leadership experience and knowledge of fiduciary practices, including trust real estate.
• Competence in contracts review, lease and property management, real estate law and policy compliance, property data analysis, and real estate sales closings.
