TL;DR
(Sr./Lead) Compliance Analyst (II) (NERC/FERC Compliance): Supporting the development, communication, monitoring, and auditing of electric reliability standards with an accent on NERC standards, PJM requirements, and utility operations. Focus on leading compliance audits, preparing for regulatory reviews, strengthening reliability controls, and coordinating with PJM members and stakeholders.

Location: Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do

  • Communicate new and revised NERC Reliability Standards and coordinate PJM positions on standards development.
  • Maintain working knowledge of NERC standards projects and support PJM requirement owners with implementation.
  • Lead or participate in internal and external compliance audits, spot checks, and self-certifications.
  • Assess Transmission Owner compliance and help maintain PJM compliance with NERC Reliability Standards.
  • Strengthen controls for requirements where non-compliance could create significant reliability, financial, or reputational impact.
  • Coordinate compliance-related interactions and communications with PJM members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of utility operations and/or planning experience.
  • Up to 5 years of experience working with compliance requirements and NERC Reliability Standards.
  • Experience with interchange arrangements, Bulk Power relationships, and FERC procedures.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, qualitative, verbal, written, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and produce detailed, high-quality work products.

Nice to have

  • MBA or Business Administration background.
  • At least 4 years of direct PJM operations and/or planning experience.
  • Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
  • Experience supporting PJM committees.
