Sr Regulatory Specialist (Sustainability)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts or Plano, Texas, hybrid with 3 days onsite. Standard in-office schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Occasional early morning or late evening calls may be required to support EMEA and APO time zones.

Base salary in Massachusetts: $88,743–$110,929 annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Support sustainability, environmental, packaging, and product stewardship compliance across global markets.
• Analyze and calculate data for sustainability compliance, reporting, and market access activities.
• Maintain accurate, current, and accessible regulatory documentation, declarations, certifications, registrations, and compliance records.
• Support regulatory reporting, registrations, and producer responsibility obligations.
• Coordinate packaging, environmental, and product stewardship compliance activities across Regulatory, Sustainability, Product Development, Packaging, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales.
• Maintain regulatory relationships with contract manufacturers and raw material vendors and provide actionable updates on requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Regulatory Affairs, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Packaging, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Sustainability, Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Compliance, Market Access, Packaging Compliance, or a related discipline.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Knowledge of sustainability regulations, EPR programs, packaging compliance, environmental claims, product stewardship, and regulatory documentation.
• Strong quantitative, data analysis, documentation management, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Sustainability or Regulatory Affairs.
• Experience with consumer products, medical devices, electronics, cosmetics, personal care, food contact products, or other regulated products.
• Experience with EPR, packaging regulations, sustainability reporting, product registrations, or regulatory documentation.
• Experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet, PLM, ERP, data management systems, or similar workflow tools.
• Fluency in Chinese, French, Spanish, or another additional language.
