Financial Data, Reporting & Automation Senior Specialist (Power BI)

Location: Rosemead, California, US; hybrid work with required attendance at an SCE facility, and residence in California unless otherwise noted

Salary: $101,900–$152,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead financial modeling and prepare analytical presentations for management communications.
• Create forecasts and budgets using appropriate numerical and statistical techniques.
• Design financial reports and dashboards that communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
• Identify process, control, and efficiency improvements and support their implementation through automation.
• Perform scenario analysis, valuation modeling, and assessments of investments, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Manage financial risks, controls, mitigations, and cross-functional Finance activities.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in financial planning, financial modeling, and/or forecasting.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with automation solutions such as PowerApps, Power Automate, and Alteryx.
• Experience with Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud for data visualization and dashboarding.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP or PowerPlant applications and related business processes.
• Must work and reside in California unless otherwise noted; the position has a hybrid work mode with required facility attendance.

Nice to have

• Experience in the utility industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
