Senior Scientist, Target Discovery & Biology (Functional Genomics)

What you will do

• Apply functional genomics approaches across therapeutic areas to discover novel targets and address key biological questions.
• Lead, support, and execute projects from inception through target identification, validation, and mechanism-of-action studies.
• Use disease-relevant biological models ranging from in vitro to in vivo systems.
• Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and scientifically rigorous research culture.

Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, or MD with relevant postdoctoral scientific experience in Target Discovery and Biology; alternatively, a master’s degree with 3 years or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in molecular biology and cell engineering.
• Experience executing large-scale, complex, or in vivo genetic screens, particularly CRISPR-based screens, and follow-up validation studies.
• Familiarity with data-driven discovery approaches and integration of genetic or multi-omics insights.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-site collaboration in a matrixed research environment.
• Demonstrated scientific productivity, innovation, and successful work in new research areas.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex and co-culture in vitro models.
• Additional experience applying functional genomics to target discovery across diverse indications.
