What you will do

• Develop functional assays and pre-clinical models to measure endothelial cell function and age-related decline.
• Collaborate with Functional Genomics and Predictive Modeling teams to test reprogramming hypotheses at scale.
• Measure the effects of mRNA reprogramming medicines on endothelial cells.
• Engineer in vivo nucleic acid delivery methods for endothelial cells.
• Analyze experimental data to support pre-clinical decision making.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience of 5+ years.
• Experience isolating and functionally characterizing primary cells.
• Experience working with mouse models, including kidney, cardiovascular, or cognitive disease models.
• Experience with transgenic manipulation of primary cells ex vivo or in vivo using viral vectors or nucleic acid delivery.

Nice to have

• Contribution to a pre-clinical or clinical drug development program.
• Experience leading pre-clinical studies in mouse models.
• Experience with single-cell genomics and pooled screening approaches, including CRISPR fitness screens and Perturb/CROP-seq.
