What you will do

  • Develop and execute account plans that build reimbursement confidence and support patient access.
  • Educate physician offices on support services, coverage, coding, reimbursement requirements, payer trends, and policy changes.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Regional Directors, Medical Specialists, physicians, administrators, and office staff.
  • Guide healthcare professionals in resolving reimbursement issues and barriers in accordance with company policies and processes.
  • Monitor support-service impact, manage product concerns, and adapt account strategies to customer and market needs.
  • Plan and efficiently cover the assigned field reimbursement territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5-8 years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical-device experience, including 3-5 years in healthcare coverage, coding, or reimbursement.
  • Experience working with billing and medical claims personnel in physician offices, hospitals, HOPDs, ASCs, or similar healthcare settings.
  • Expertise supporting coding, billing, and claim submissions across Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer environments.
  • Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, revenue codes, DRG, UB-04, CMS-1500, explanations of benefits, prior authorization forms, and superbills.
  • Must reside within the assigned Minnesota or Wisconsin territory and be able to travel 50%-70% of the time.
