Field Reimbursement Manager (Diabetes)

Location: Orlando, Florida; field-based in the assigned Central Florida territory with regular business travel required.

Salary: $76,399–$161,204.50 annual base salary, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Build expertise in diabetes patient access, payer trends, coverage policies, reimbursement landscapes, and competitive products.
• Identify patient access barriers and use data analytics to develop account strategies and process improvements.
• Recommend tailored access solutions for endocrinology and primary care clinics, health systems, and other care settings.
• Create and deliver education on reimbursement processes, workflows, and best practices to field teams and provider offices.
• Support prior authorization, denial management, appeals, and enrollment in appropriate affordability programs.
• Collaborate with field, market access, payer, customer care, clinical services, and sales teams to resolve access challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; business, economics, or a health-related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of healthcare reimbursement or patient access experience.
• Deep understanding of reimbursement, payer processes, coding, and billing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, influencing, education, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Must reside within the assigned geographic area and hold a valid driver’s license; regular travel within the territory is required.
• Ability to travel overnight and by air as territory size requires, and to lift, carry, and transport 30 pounds of literature.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, or MPH.
• Knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
• Prior field reimbursement manager, reimbursement, or diabetes patient access experience.
