Salary: USD 235,000–265,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Lead, recruit, retain, coach, and develop a field-based MSL team focused on ophthalmology and retinal therapies.
  • Set and execute national medical strategy, field plans, scientific messaging, and peer-to-peer exchange with HCPs and KOLs.
  • Build relationships with national, regional, and local KOLs, professional societies, advocacy groups, clinics, and value-based institutions.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate field insights to hirify.global, client leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support clinical operations, investigator-initiated trial proposals, medical meetings, congresses, and scientific booth activities.
  • Oversee compliance, medical information follow-up, documentation, budgets, metrics, and publication and manuscript support.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as OD, MD, PhD, PharmD, MSN, or NP/PA.
  • Ophthalmology and retina specialty field experience.
  • At least 4 years of industry experience and preferably 2 years of leadership experience managing field-based teams.
  • Strong scientific, analytical, communication, presentation, planning, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical, OIG, and FDA regulations governing non-promotional activities.
  • Ability to travel frequently, approximately 70%, including overnight stays for KOL meetings, site visits, internal meetings, training, and congresses.
