Business Operations, Senior Specialist (Data Analytics)

Location: Hybrid role based in Rosemead, California; employees are generally required to work and reside in California. The position requires reporting to an SCE facility for a set number of days, with remote work on remaining days. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $114,400–$171,600 per year

What you will do

• Develop medium- to high-complexity reports, automated KPI dashboards, and business intelligence outputs using multiple data sources.
• Analyze metrics and provide evaluations supporting organizational and program decisions.
• Support IT business operations, including procure-to-pay activities, Learning Management System administration, facilities projects, onboarding and offboarding, and employee engagement programs.
• Manage and coordinate small- to medium-sized internal projects, including schedules, resources, costs, documentation, and status reporting.
• Prepare targeted communications and coordinate with project managers, IT leadership, and internal stakeholders.
• Recommend, implement, and evaluate improvements to operational policies, procedures, systems, and processes.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in business operations analysis.
• Intermediate to advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with project management methods and tools for managing projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Strong business judgment, research, information management, risk awareness, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work and reside in California is generally required.
• Commitment to protecting physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, and other sensitive information.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Ariba, SAP HCM or SCM, SuccessFactors, or Fieldglass.
• Experience initiating and executing efficiency improvement strategies.
