Sales & Business Analytics Analyst, Engineering Project Management

Location: Hybrid office environment in Novi, Michigan, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office; up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Salary: $78,750–$115,500 per year, with additional compensation potentially available depending on the position.

What you will do

• Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from Salesforce, Qlik Sense, SAP, Excel, and other enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics covering sales performance, pipeline health, customer activity, financial results, software licensing, and cloud operations.
• Analyze customer, product, regional, and business-line performance to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations and support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Product Management, IT, and Controlling teams to define reporting requirements.
• Validate and reconcile reporting data, monitor cloud costs and third-party spend, and support budget variance analysis and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in business analytics, sales operations, finance, reporting, project controls, or a related analytical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience using Salesforce for reporting, dashboard development, data extraction, and business analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Qlik Sense.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating across global and cross-functional organizations.
• Willingness to work in the Novi hybrid office environment at least 3 days per week and complete a background investigation and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, VBA, macros, Power BI, or other data visualization and reporting tools.
• Background in sales operations, revenue analytics, software business models, or cloud-based services.
• Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with financial forecasting, profitability analysis, or cost management initiatives.
