Technical Product Analyst (SQL)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; fully onsite

Salary: $75–80 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze complex business and product problems to define automated system solutions.
• Identify stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and clarify business needs, requirements, and priorities.
• Analyze data movement, upstream and downstream systems, integrations, dependencies, and business processes.
• Create concept prototypes and mockups to help stakeholders visualize tools, applications, and features.
• Write technical and business-driven user stories with detailed acceptance criteria and support sprint planning.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, technical leads, and development teams during Agile ceremonies and delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience, including experience in mortgage or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Strong SQL querying skills and experience with DB2; knowledge of Postgres is preferred.
• Experience with data migration, integration, modeling, process design, and defining data requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, Angular, microservices, APIs, Jira, Confluence, and Agile work management tools.
• Experience with Agile ceremonies, automation testing, and writing Cypress automation test scripts.
