Sr. Project Manager, Professional Services (Storage and Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid; must be within a commutable distance of a hirify.global office and currently near San Jose, CA; RTP, NC; Boulder, CO; Wichita, KS; New York City; or Waltham, MA. Some night and weekend work is required.

Salary: $147,900–$220,000 per year, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, billable professional services projects from definition and planning through implementation and customer acceptance.
• Manage project budgets, revenue reporting, invoicing, billing, resource utilization, time-entry compliance, change requests, and Statements of Work.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and coordinate architecture, migration, configuration, and knowledge-transfer activities.
• Lead cross-functional internal, partner, and customer teams, including resource planning, mentoring, and executive stakeholder communications.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints while implementing mitigation and change-management plans.
• Improve PMO standards, professional services practices, service offerings, and strategic delivery initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 10 years with a master's degree, or equivalent experience.
• Technical expertise in systems, storage, and data management.
• Expert spreadsheet skills and experience with project management applications for reporting, scheduling, tracking, and project controls.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage relationships across large groups of experts, and meet demanding timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• PMP certification is preferred; project management training is an advantage.
