Senior AI Forward Deployed Engineer - Cogentiq I2C (Invoice-to-Cash)

What you will do

• Own the technical outcomes of Cogentiq I2C deployments across strategic customer accounts, from discovery through production rollout and scale.
• Define deployment KPIs covering accuracy, straight-through processing, latency, transaction cost, adoption, and business impact.
• Design architectures covering agent topology, retrieval, human oversight, integrations, data models, and build-versus-configure decisions.
• Lead proof-of-value and pilot scoping, estimate effort, set measurable success criteria, and coordinate deployment engineers and specialists.
• Act as incident commander for production failures, leading root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Advise finance and IT leaders on governance, model risk, responsible AI, and system limitations while turning deployment learnings into reusable assets.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience building and operating production systems, including at least two years in customer-facing delivery.
• Experience taking at least one non-trivial AI system to production and operating it afterward.
• Strong Python and system design skills, with depth in LLM and agentic architectures, retrieval, evaluation methodology, guardrails, and observability.
• Experience with cloud deployment at scale, containers, and orchestration; Azure is preferred.
• Ability to discuss DSO, deductions, remittance advice, and cash application, or demonstrate the ability to develop this finance vocabulary within a quarter.
• Willingness to travel and embed with customers, with strong commercial judgment around scope and customer requests.

• AI deployment experience in regulated industries.
• Enterprise ERP integration experience, especially SAP S/4HANA or Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers.
• Pre-sales or solution architecture experience.
