HPE Networking Engineer (Aruba)

Location: Hybrid, with an average requirement of two days per week from an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Provide advanced premium technical support for hirify.global Aruba WLAN, including access points, mobility gateways, Aruba Central, ClearPass, AirWave, and Central On-Prem.
• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, roaming, RF performance, security, and complex network management issues.
• Analyze packet captures, logs, and system behavior to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage critical customer escalations and coordinate with engineering to resolve complex issues.
• Support software upgrades, migrations, deployment best practices, customer technical reviews, and knowledge-base improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in enterprise networking and/or WLAN environments.
• Advanced English level required.
• Strong knowledge of hirify.global Aruba WLAN technologies, Aruba APs, controllers/gateways, Aruba Central, ClearPass, AirWave, and Central On-Prem.
• Experience with IEEE 802.11, RF concepts, WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, AAA, NAC, EAP, PKI, certificates, and identity-management integrations.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, wireless networking, Linux administration, packet capture, log analysis, and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python, Bash, or automation tools.
• Aruba ACCP, ACMP, ACSP, or ACNX certification.
• Cisco CCNP or an equivalent networking/security certification.
