Enterprise Data Security Architect (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Duluth, Georgia, United States

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define enterprise security reference architectures, patterns, standards, blueprints, and secure-by-design strategies.
• Design controls for AI-specific risks, including prompt injection, data poisoning, model extraction, adversarial attacks, and agentic system vulnerabilities.
• Define secure generative AI patterns covering RAG, vector databases, LLM gateways, output filtering, guardrails, red teaming, and responsible AI governance.
• Architect data security controls for classification, encryption, DLP, DSPM, access governance, tokenization, and masking.
• Secure data lakes, warehouses, feature stores, model registries, and related data lineage, provenance, and integrity controls.
• Lead technology evaluations, integrations, threat modeling, risk assessments, incident response, and architecture compliance reviews.

Requirements

• 10 years of security architecture or senior security engineering experience.
• 3+ years of direct experience securing AI, ML, or generative AI systems, data science platforms, or large-scale data environments.
• Practical experience with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and threat modeling frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS, OWASP, or NIST AI RMF.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security across Azure, AWS, or GCP, plus container, Kubernetes, and zero-trust security.
• Understanding of AI/ML lifecycles, training and inference pipelines, embeddings, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, and common attack vectors.
• Experience with DLP, SIEM platforms such as Splunk or ELK, compliance frameworks, and incident response.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, or CISM certification.
• SABSA or TOGAF framework experience.
• Experience with differential privacy, federated learning, or secure multi-party computation.
