AI Security Architect

Annual salary: $164,500–$305,500, with potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design secure architectures for AI/ML training, inference, deployment, LLM, GenAI, and AI API environments.
• Embed security controls into MLOps and DevSecOps pipelines across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud.
• Conduct threat modeling for prompt injection, model poisoning, data leakage, model theft, inversion, extraction, evasion, and other adversarial AI threats.
• Protect training and inference data through governance, anonymization, encryption, privacy controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Establish AI security policies, standards, guardrails, monitoring, and risk frameworks aligned with NIST and ISO AI standards.
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams, lead security reviews and architecture boards, and mentor security engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture or engineering.
• Experience securing AI/ML systems or data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, containers, serverless, API security, microservices, encryption, key management, and identity systems.
• Experience developing Agent and Agentic AI for security use cases and experience with MCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
• Familiarity with adversarial ML techniques, MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, and SIEM/XDR platforms.
• CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security certifications.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
