VP, Product Platform & Engineering

Location: Mesa, Arizona, United States; locally located candidates who are comfortable commuting into the office are required.

What you will do

• Define and lead the long-term platform engineering strategy aligned with product and business growth.
• Own the architecture and delivery of infrastructure, developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, shared services, and cloud foundations.
• Set standards for enterprise application architecture, microservices, APIs, data architecture, scalability, security, and performance.
• Enable product squads through reusable components, APIs, developer tooling, and self-service infrastructure.
• Lead DevOps, engineering productivity, observability, monitoring, incident management, SRE, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Build and coach high-performing engineering and platform leadership teams while aligning Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Data stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and platform or infrastructure leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale engineering or platform organizations and building cloud-native platforms and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, microservices, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, DevOps/SRE, container orchestration, observability, and API or service architectures.
• Strong strategic, communication, and stakeholder-alignment skills.
• Demonstrated success building high-performing engineering teams and improving developer experience and productivity.
• Must be locally located in Mesa, Arizona, and comfortable commuting into the office; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS or large-scale digital platforms and internal developer platforms.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with product-led development and agile squad models.
