Dietary Supervisor

Location: Farmingdale, Maine, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $22–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience

Kennebec Assisted Living and Respite Facility, a division of Brown House Properties, provides assisted living and respite care services in the community.

What you will do

• Supervise and support Dietary Aide staff.
• Coordinate daily food service operations, including meal preparation and service.
• Ensure compliance with food production, handling, quality, and healthcare dietary standards.
• Manage special and modified diets according to diet orders, dietary restrictions, and resident preferences.
• Monitor patient diet updates, allergens, food production, and meal service procedures.
• Support quality assurance through audits, in-services, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare dietary regulations.
• Ability to interact patiently and positively with people of varied personalities.
• Previous Dietary Coordinator or Supervisor experience in skilled nursing, intermediate care, memory care, or long-term care is preferred.
