Project Manager, Libraries (Biotech)

Location: USA - Remote or South San Francisco, California

Salary: $99,000–$132,000 USD annually for the San Francisco Bay Area; bonus, equity, and benefits are also available.

What you will do

• Coordinate project management, communication, and implementation for Site Variant Libraries and Combinatorial Variant Libraries.
• Manage customer and internal inquiries, library design inputs, quotations, purchase orders, statements of work, and delivery communications.
• Coordinate costing with library fabrication teams and prepare and distribute customer quotes.
• Maintain accurate databases and records for NDAs, designs, quotes, orders, work in progress, and shipments.
• Provide project progress updates and coordinate order fulfillment details and deliverables.
• Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements and support ad hoc library projects.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in life sciences or a related field, including more than 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life science.
• Experience communicating with customers from initial inquiry through service delivery.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, internal operations, sales, and support teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects that meet customer expectations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; this is not an IT-related role.

• Advanced degree in a life science.

• General knowledge of library fabrication workflows.
