Senior Manager, R&D; Strategic Resourcing

Salary: $124,500–$236,500 per year

What you will do

• Execute global R&D resource strategies and manage associated budgets, forecasts, and projects.
• Develop strategic recommendations with functional leaders to plan resources and finances for initiatives.
• Prepare portfolio timelines and cost estimates while balancing time, cost, quality, and performance requirements.
• Partner with VPs and department leaders on goals, strategic business issues, and decisions affecting the organization.
• Collaborate across R&D to improve operational performance, culture, decision-making, and teamwork.
• Establish resource-finance partnerships and manage tools and processes that support departmental systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; an advanced degree such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or MBA is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or 2 years with a PhD in a fast-paced environment such as top-tier management consulting or pharmaceutical R&D.
• Experience managing large projects in a complex matrixed organization, as an external consultant or internal cross-functional lead within a pharmaceutical organization.
• Ability to present data and metrics to executive leadership and influence stakeholders in a global, cross-functional matrix environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
