What you will do

• Build and lead Strategic Program Teams and develop long-term, end-to-end integrated strategies for the Immunology portfolio.
• Guide development programs from pre-IND nomination through BLA application, supporting novel therapies for serious ophthalmic diseases.
• Drive scientific rigor, innovation, program execution, governance, and delivery against plans and timelines.
• Oversee program budgets, development costs, risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Align stakeholders across research, clinical development, regulatory, commercial, manufacturing, and partner organizations.
• Coach and support the professional development of Strategic Program Team members.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or PharmD.
• 10–15 years of broad drug development experience in immunology or autoimmunity.
• Deep knowledge of molecule development in relevant disease areas.
• Expert knowledge of the competitive landscape and general regulatory requirements for drug approval.
• Ability to work on-site in Tarrytown, New York four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge of biologics and alternative therapeutic modalities.
