Senior IT Technology Specialist (IT/OT Cybersecurity)

Location: Troy, New York, United States; onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Salary: $77,600–$148,400 annually

What you will do

• Develop and implement IT/OT risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies aligned with organizational, regulatory, and security requirements.
• Monitor endpoint security, respond to incidents, coordinate remediation, and support IT/OT network segmentation based on frameworks such as IEC 62443.
• Contribute to enterprise cyber resiliency initiatives across IT and OT environments.
• Provide oversight for major incidents, stakeholder communication, resolution coordination, and post-incident reviews.
• Manage service-provider performance, availability, efficiency, and SLA adherence.
• Oversee IT/OT solution lifecycles from initiation through transition and support audits, compliance reviews, and team training.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Senior level: 5 years of experience delivering IT/OT services; principal level: 8 years. Final level depends on qualifications.
• Strong GxP experience and experience in highly regulated environments are required.
• Deep experience with ITIL disciplines, service management, incident management, and escalation procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, VMware, and problem determination or root cause analysis.
• Customer-facing, negotiation, influencing, and collaboration skills for working with global teams and third-party providers.

• Experience with Splunk, Claroty, and next-generation OT security tools.
