What you will do

• Identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical problems with limited to no supervision.
• Lead or execute engineering projects, including developing key suppliers and coordinating component procurement.
• Design and modify complex mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, fixtures, and associated processes.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.
• Define and perform engineering analyses and tests, generate test reports, and produce product specifications and documentation.
• Communicate complex mechanical concepts and technical issues to internal and external customers while influencing project decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience.
• Subject-matter expertise with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
