hirify.global is hiring for infrastructure operations services focused on mission-critical Linux, AIX, and container platforms.

What you will do

• Architect and manage Linux systems, including RHEL, CentOS, and SUSE, across physical, virtual, and hybrid platforms.
• Design and administer AIX servers on pSeries architecture, including LPARs, VIO servers, and PowerVM environments.
• Automate operating system deployments, patching, and configuration with Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, or similar tools.
• Integrate Unix systems with security controls, monitoring, log forwarding, and SIEM tools.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
• Support disaster recovery readiness, high-availability testing, infrastructure projects, incident response, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Linux internals and kernel tuning.
• Expertise in AIX, PowerHA, PowerVM, NIM, and VIO servers.
• Experience with KVM, VMware, hybrid infrastructure, patch management, and centralized management tools such as Red Hat Satellite or SUSE Manager.
• Knowledge of CIS hardening, OS-level auditing, security compliance standards, log forwarding, and SIEM integration.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience, plus typically 6+ years of relevant industry experience and at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Experience in infrastructure technology analysis, data analysis, and technical problem-solving.
