What you will do

• Design methods to consolidate and analyze diverse structured and unstructured big data sources.
• Perform statistical and data-mining analyses using R, SAS, and MATLAB.
• Design data acquisition systems, data structures, and databases.
• Develop analytical models, algorithms, and automated processes using SQL, PHP, and Python.
• Cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets for manufacturing and process information.
• Work with internal customers and project teams to define requirements and deliver reports, analyses, and product insights.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in data science and knowledge of related disciplines.
• Experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and analytical modeling.
• Working knowledge of SQL and programming with PHP or Python.
• Ability to solve complex problems using information from multiple sources and communicate sensitive or difficult findings.
• Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, United States.
