TL;DR
Engineering Tech Lead - Player Management (.NET) (Distributed Systems and iGaming): Driving technical excellence across player account management products with an accent on distributed microservices, real-time messaging, scalable APIs, and highly available systems. Focus on leading technical design decisions, developing POCs, improving stability and performance, and coaching engineers.
Location: Budapest, Hungary. Hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

What you will do
- Drive technical excellence across the Player Account Management area by improving stability, performance, code quality, and development efficiency.
- Lead technical design decisions, investigations, troubleshooting, and hands-on technical initiatives.
- Identify and champion measurable technical improvements, standards, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and engineering colleagues to align and implement architectural direction.
- Support new product development through proofs of concept, technical designs, technology research, and major change reviews.
- Coach and mentor engineers, participate in technical interviews, provide feedback, and lead technical training.
Requirements
- Senior-level .NET engineering or technical leadership experience with a strong technical background.
- Experience designing and implementing distributed microservices and highly cacheable RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of real-time messaging patterns, preferably Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Couchbase.
- Experience with observability practices for highly available systems, such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience coaching and mentoring engineers, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

- Technical proficiency with the .NET technology stack.
- Experience working with AWS.
