Senior Manufacturing Technician (Bioprocess)

Location: Vacaville, California, United States. Fully site based; regular in-person work is required.

Salary: $47,250–$78,750 gross annual base salary, plus a performance-related bonus.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain production systems in a cGMP environment while supporting inspection readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in mammalian cell culture production across upstream processes, including seed train, media preparation, fermentation, and harvest.
• Support downstream processes such as buffer preparation, chromatography, and filtration.
• Dispense components, handle hazardous materials, and clean and sterilize equipment and fixed-tank systems.
• Manage inventory and process systems, maintain accurate records, and follow safety and environmental protocols.
• Use automated production systems, support Right-First-Time operations, and resolve process issues in collaboration with the team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Ability to identify and implement solutions to process issues.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, physical sciences, or engineering.
