Transformation Consultant (Tax)

Location: Hybrid work from offices in Katowice, Lublin, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk, Opole, or Krakow, Poland. Home office is available after onboarding with a hybrid working model.

What you will do

• Prepare and review direct and indirect tax calculations and statutory filings, including VAT, CIT, and WHT.
• Support tax reporting, reconciliations, audits, and compliance activities.
• Analyze tax data, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with tax, finance, and controllership stakeholders.
• Participate in tax process improvement and transformation projects.
• Help design and implement optimized tax processes, controls, and automation solutions.
• Contribute to client workshops, knowledge sharing, and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience with direct and indirect tax processes in Europe and/or EMEA.
• Good understanding of VAT, CIT, WHT, and related tax regulations.
• Experience with tax data, reconciliations, statutory documentation, and compliance activities.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP tax modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset with willingness to work in a consulting environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of tax technology and reporting tools.
