Sr. Medical Science Liaison (IgG4 Rare Disease)

Location: Kansas City, Kansas; territory includes Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri, with relationships across the United States.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with medical thought leaders, clinicians, academic institutions, medical directors, and pharmacy directors.
• Communicate scientific, medical, health-economic, and product information in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collect and integrate customer feedback, connect unmet needs with internal resources, and collaborate across functional areas.
• Identify and train potential speakers for sponsored external speaker programs.
• Participate in scientific conferences and meetings to support medical and clinical strategy and monitor clinical trends.
• Evaluate external clinical research opportunities and facilitate investigator-initiated and company-sponsored trials.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience, or master’s degree and 6 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience.
• Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, workshops, and company meetings.
• Ability to learn new business applications and use hardware tools such as PCs and iPads.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a professional, proactive approach.

Nice to have

• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another relevant doctoral degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a medical science liaison role at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
