AI Lead Engineer (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Define the technical vision, roadmap, and architecture for Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities within the Assure Build Platform.
• Design and implement agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, RAG, LLM configuration, prompt tooling, and model customization components.
• Architect reliable AI agents with multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory management, workflow orchestration, traceability, and controlled execution.
• Optimize LLM inference through prompt tuning, caching, quantization, latency reduction, throughput optimization, and cost governance.
• Integrate Copilot Studio agents into Assure workflows, including migration acceleration, testing automation, performance analysis, and operational intelligence.
• Establish secure GenAI engineering practices and mentor engineers across GenAI, agentic systems, and platform design.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role involving architecture, design decisions, performance, reliability, and code quality.
• Hands-on expertise with LLM inference, runtime behavior, embeddings, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
• Experience designing single-agent and multi-agent architectures, reasoning and planning, tool calling, workflow orchestration, memory, state management, traceability, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade GenAI platforms, including agent lifecycle management, prompt governance, RAG evaluation, and model deployment.
• Python programming is mandatory. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java or equivalent languages for platform and systems engineering.
• Experience fine-tuning, adapting, or customizing foundation models for task-specific performance and domain alignment.
