Hudson Oaks RX Tech - Pharmacy Tech - Part Time (Pharmacy)

Location: Hudson Oaks, Texas, United States; onsite retail pharmacy role with rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

Salary: USD $20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Provide accurate, efficient customer service and support pharmacy operations.
• Receive and process written prescriptions, verify patient information, process third-party prescriptions, and manage adjudication reviews.
• Coordinate prescription screening, flu shot scheduling, immunization scheduling, and other professional services activities.
• Manage inventory, invoices, warehouse and DSD orders, deliveries, discrepancies, and returns.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated prescription processing equipment and pharmacy applications.
• Assemble and verify prescriptions, handle controlled medications and liquid measurements, follow return-to-stock procedures, and protect PHI under HIPAA.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and work onsite in Hudson Oaks, Texas.
• At least 1 year of experience as an active retail Certified Pharmacy Technician; 3+ years of pharmacy experience preferred.
• Active Texas registration as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) and required continuing education and recertification.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy management tasks, RxEVO, pharmacy SOPs, prescription measurements, and intermediate computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with limited supervision, maintain composure under pressure, and work rotating shifts while standing for extended periods and lifting 30 lbs or more.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of pharmacy experience.
