Location: Camden, New Jersey, United States. Field-based and office-based work may include patient homes, physicians’ offices, hospitals, and clinics. Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

What you will do
- Educate patients and caregivers on the use, care, and expected outcomes of orthopedic equipment and orthotic devices.
- Assist with patient evaluations, basic assessments, measurements, fittings, and casting activities within established guidelines and scope of practice.
- Review prescriptions, collect patient information, and maintain clinical documentation for patient care and billing.
- Explain device instructions, wear schedules, and general cost information, and respond to routine patient questions.
- Coordinate scheduling, billing, and patient care needs with internal teams, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Follow HIPAA, healthcare regulations, compliance programs, and clinic or hospital policies.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience providing orthotist, occupational therapy, or physical therapy services as, or under the supervision of, a certified practitioner.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy.
- Active certification or licensure from the appropriate state regulatory agency, such as ABC CO, CPO, BOCO, NBCOT OTR, or FSBPT licensure.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and medical terminology.
- Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds and perform standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and kneeling as required.
- Full-time United States work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Durable Medical Equipment documentation, coding, and billing practices.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Computers Unlimited TIMS or other billing and inventory systems.
