Experienced Swedish Payroll Specialist in Spain

Location: Fully remote from Spain, with locations listed in Malaga, Granada, Valencia, Madrid, and Barcelona. CET working hours. Workation abroad is available for up to 4 weeks per year in countries where hirify.global has a legal entity.

What you will do

• Oversee the complete payroll process for Swedish clients, from data entry through tax reporting.
• Prepare bank files, calculate vacation pay, and ensure accurate payroll execution.
• Provide expert support and resolve complex payroll queries.
• Collaborate with the payroll operations team to streamline processes and improve service quality.
• Contribute to technological solutions that enhance payroll delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing the full payroll cycle.
• Swedish at C2 level is required.
• English at B2 level is required.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish employment law and payroll regulations.
• Proactive approach, resilience, growth mindset, and ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
