Sr. Sales Engineer (HVAC)

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $84,740–$137,200; incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert supporting sales activities and growth initiatives.
• Present cloud-based software solutions and answer technical questions from prospective customers and partners.
• Lead technical discussions from initial contact through deployment and support customer onboarding.
• Evaluate customer sites, develop deployment scopes of work, and estimate energy savings.
• Train partner staff and sales teams on the technology, value proposition, strategy, and methodology.
• Provide market intelligence, support marketing activities, build customer relationships, and grow the sales pipeline.

Requirements

• Five or more years of relevant HVAC industry experience in project management, estimating, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, engineering technology, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC system operation and design, building automation systems, or temperature controls.
• Experience with a drafting or design program.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and network architecture.
• Knowledge of new construction, renovation and retrofit, performance contracting, service project management, or industry-standard integration protocols is preferred.
