Trade Compliance Analyst, Staff (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Hybrid in Ottawa, Canada

Salary: CAD 75,000–90,000 per year, based on the Ontario position and evaluated according to qualifications, experience, scope, market, and business considerations.

What you will do

• Interpret control lists and categorize products from different perspectives.
• Evaluate internal operations, controls, communications, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
• Recommend appropriate changes to regulatory compliance processes and documentation.
• Coordinate and prepare document packages for regulatory submissions, audits, and inspections.
• Act as a point of contact for shipping requests, technology exports, restricted-party screening, and other export-control processes.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or supply chain.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. and international trade regulations preferred.
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
• Ability to work in the hybrid Ottawa, Canada setup.
