What you will do

• Develop and monitor compliance policies to ensure adherence to securities regulations such as NI 31-103, NI 81-103, and NI 45-106.
• Prepare and file regulatory reports, including 45-106F1s and capital market participation fee filings.
• Manage the Canada Compliance Calendar to ensure all regulatory deadlines and accountabilities are met.
• Support regulatory audits, inquiries, and inspections conducted by securities regulators.
• Coordinate board meetings, including the preparation of meeting packages and minutes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and update internal policies to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in senior compliance, business controls, or regulatory roles with an investment fund manager or portfolio manager.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Compliance expertise within the private fund and investment management space.
• Experience with regulatory filings and Canadian securities authority requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and DocuSign.
