Full Stack Engineer, Java React (On-site, CDMX)

Location: On-site in Mexico; offices available in Santa Barbara, Azcapotzalco, and CDMX. The conditions section also lists Aguascalientes.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and support scalable cloud-native full stack applications.
• Build Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs using microservices architecture.
• Develop responsive user interfaces with ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Support CI/CD implementation, containerized deployments, and automated delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident resolution, code reviews, and engineering quality initiatives.
• Support onboarding, KYC, and client lifecycle technology capabilities while collaborating with product, architecture, business analysis, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Professional experience with Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, and SQL query optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, and API testing.
• Financial services or banking technology experience, client onboarding systems, and Agile Scrum methodology.

Nice to have

• Kafka, event-driven architecture, Terraform, Helm, OpenShift, Splunk, Dynatrace, or the ELK Stack.
• OAuth2/OpenID Connect and API gateway technologies.
• KYC, AML, CDD, digital banking, or client lifecycle management experience.
