Senior Director, R&D Venture Delivery (Healthcare)

Salary: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional execution across early-stage ventures with engineering, data science, commercial, legal, privacy, compliance, and operations teams.
• Facilitate client discovery sessions, pilot reviews, working sessions, and executive touchpoints.
• Translate venture strategy and customer insight into priorities, roadmaps, operating plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Define customer problems and MVPs, test assumptions, and maintain focus on user, customer, and business value.
• Build operating systems for planning, milestone tracking, launch readiness, risk reviews, build reviews, and executive reporting.
• Drive modern ways of working, including agile delivery, rapid learning loops, experimentation, prototyping, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience leading complex work in product-led, technology-enabled, consulting, innovation, or venture-building environments.
• Experience as a product operations leader, product strategy lead, chief of staff, strategic program leader, venture operator, business operations leader, or senior cross-functional execution lead.
• Experience leading client-facing workstreams and translating client input into product, pilot, and go-to-market decisions.
• Strong fluency in discovery, strategy, design trade-offs, prioritization, MVP definition, launch readiness, experimentation, and success metrics.
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments, move between strategy and detail, and influence senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, data, analytics, AI, enterprise software, consulting, or other regulated environments.
• Experience with zero-to-one or one-to-scale product development.
• Experience introducing AI-enabled workflows, automation, prototyping methods, new tools, or knowledge management practices.
• Experience with market validation, customer feedback, launch planning, pricing, packaging, or go-to-market readiness.
