Vehicle Integration Technician II (Aerospace)

Location: Briggs, Texas, United States; onsite. Travel to the launch site of up to 40% is required.

What you will do

• Assemble, integrate, test, and install Alpha Launch Vehicle flight hardware and vehicle subsystems.
• Install, route, test, troubleshoot, repair, and visually inspect cable harnessing.
• Follow complex assembly procedures, work instructions, planning instructions, and integration processes.
• Use tooling, fixturing, avionics and mechanical hand tools, DMMs, and precision measurement equipment.
• Identify discrepancies between design and manufacturing or assembly and resolve them with engineers and teammates.
• Support engineering with manufacturability, producibility, and assembly decisions.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience with complex assemblies or aviation production and maintenance.
• Experience reading harness and wiring diagrams and performing on-vehicle harness routing and testing.
• Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, or ANSI/ESD S20.20.
• Experience with ESD-controlled environments and troubleshooting complex avionics systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with flexibility in evolving workflows and processes.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under ITAR regulations.

Nice to have

• A&P license.
• Military fixed-wing or rotor-wing maintenance or military avionics/electrician experience.
• Experience with rocket engines, turbomachinery, aircraft engines, oscilloscopes, or Hi-pot testers.
