What you will do

  • Balance technical, cost, and schedule constraints while evaluating scenarios and proposing vehicle development solutions.
  • Own verification activities for vehicle integration, testing, and launch-site checkouts.
  • Follow the vehicle through its lifecycle to maintain consistency in build quality and processes.
  • Drive qualification, acceptance, and hotfire test campaigns by writing and reviewing objectives, matrices, and test plans.
  • Enable manufacturing scale-up by owning defined off-nominal work scopes.
  • Collaborate across mechanical, fluids, avionics, manufacturing, testing, and launch functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of mechanical, fluids, and avionics disciplines.
  • Ability to travel to test and launch sites and support shifted schedules or weekend work during critical milestones.

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with aerospace ERP systems and technical planning.
  • Experience designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing complex aerospace systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly to broader audiences.
  • Leadership or coordination experience in multidisciplinary engineering projects.
