Salary: $135,200–$236,600 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams through coaching, mentorship, performance management, recruiting, and career development.
• Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise, product, and business strategies.
• Partner with Product Management, Architecture, Data Science, Data Engineering, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders.
• Lead delivery of secure, scalable, cloud-native applications using analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation.
• Establish engineering standards, architectural patterns, quality practices, security controls, reliability measures, and operational excellence.
• Drive AI Development Lifecycle governance, technical risk assessment, resource planning, engineering metrics, and resolution of complex cross-team challenges.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering organizations in a matrixed environment and aligning technical strategy with business objectives.
• Experience building and scaling software engineering teams delivering enterprise SaaS, cloud-native, AI-enabled, or analytics applications.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure or another public cloud platform.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, cloud-native engineering, and platform engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, coaching, organizational development, and strategic planning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile, AI Development Lifecycle, DevSecOps, MLOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and automated testing.
• Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, intelligent automation, or analytics platforms.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, lakehouse architectures, or vector databases.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare analytics, SaaS, or other regulated industries.
• Relevant or advanced degree.
