Director, AI Engineering (Corporate)

What you will do

• Lead engineering teams responsible for systems supporting corporate functions.
• Set technical direction and engineering strategy in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with corporate business leaders to turn business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI, agentic workflows, LLM-powered tooling, and intelligent process automation.
• Own portfolio delivery, including prioritization, resourcing, budgets, vendors, and contractors.
• Establish engineering practices for code quality, CI/CD, security, resiliency, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Significant progressive engineering experience, including leadership of multiple teams and enterprise engineering functions.
• Hands-on experience with modern software architecture, AWS and/or Azure, and microservices/API-based development.
• Practical experience applying AI/ML or generative AI, including LLMs or agentic frameworks, to production business systems.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, contractor resources, and senior stakeholder relationships.
